Headlines of the week in Gymnastics!
Top Gym: Belgium's own Axelle Klinckaert was the top gymnast at the annual Top Gym Meet in Charleroi (BEL), which showcases some of the best junior competitors from around the world. Abierto Mexicano de Gimnasia: Former Japanese Junior champion Chihiro Yoshioka and Isabella Onyshko (CAN) won the sombreros at the annual Mexican Open in Mexico City this past weekend. Brno Grand Prix: 2012 Olympian Dorina Boczogo and countryman Levente Vagner teamed up to win the Brno Sokol Grand Prix, the annual Mixed Pairs competition held in Brno (CZE), holding off Austrians Jasmin Mader and Daniel Kopeinik and Germany's Antonia Alicke and Helge Liebrich. A new Russian sports movie, featuring the Svetlana Khorkina story: "Champions: Faster. Higher. Stronger" tells the stories of two-time Olympic Uneven Bars champion Khorkina, swimmer Alexander Popov, known as the "Russian rocket" and wrestler Alexander Karelin. Check out the trailer here.
